Well done to the Rangers supporters who confronted those in the airport – we must keep up the pressure!
Now, i want to make something clear. It’s my opinion that Danny Rohl is not up to the job, and by next summer, he’ll be gone. Rohl might be a great coach, but right now, and considering how much of a mess we are in, he should never have been given the job.
Rohl comes across as a decent lad, but he’s taken this job, and agreed to work alongside a number of clowns who will do absolutely nothing for him, and will ultimately hasten his departure when the current mess only gets worse. I feel for the boy!
Maybe at a different time, and under better circumstances, and board members, it might have worked out differently, but he’s here now. It’s my opinion the lad will never get a fare crack at the whip, and with only a number of dud players to work with, he doesn’t stand a chance. If Thelwell is in charge of transfers, then God knows how much more duds will come in?!
For every supporter on here who piled on big Goldson, Balogun, Dessers, and even Hagi, I wonder what you would have given to have them back last night. Yes, we needed better, but all we got was worse. Far worse!
A big lanky streak of useless single fish of a striker who we have p’d 8.5m on, but who had only one touch in the opposition box last night is meant to be our main striker! What?! And the other one is no better, he looks miles off it too! If those 2 are meant to be our main goal scorers, then we are done for. We’ll done Thelwell again!
As long as Thelwell, Stewart, Purdy, and whoever else they brought in remain, we are goosed. If our new owners can’t see the woods for the trees, then our club is only heading in one direction. And just in case some of the more blinkered of us don’t know where that is, it’s downwards. Yes, straight down the swanny.
Right now, the club we all love is no longer the club we grew up with. Are we any better off than we were under Green? Do we know for sure what the new owners long time plans are? And do we trust them? Let’s be honest here. Can anyone honestly say the know enough about these guys to claim they will get it right? They’re not supporters, so on that basis, they have no love for the club. That’s a worry!
So, let me reiterate. Danny Rohl sounds like a decent guy, who can coach, but right now, he is in the wrong job, working under the wrong people, and for those reasons, he is on a hiding to nothing. Wrong time, wrong place Danny, and it won’t end well. Sorry mate!
