Over the course of the second quarter, the Lakers maintained a small lead thanks to the efforts of Chris Paul and Stephen Curry. Despite their best efforts, the Warriors were unable to reduce the deficit as the Lakers led 70-63 at half-time.
LeBron James opted to take a snack break at halftime instead of returning to the court for the second half. The Lakers seemed to be in command, but the Warriors were unable to recover due to a series of offensive errors.
The Warriors, on the other hand, rallied at the end of the third quarter to tie the game at 100. Jonathan Kuminga was in the front line throughout this period, leading the Warriors against the Lakers reserves.
The last period of the game was full of action, with both teams looking to take the lead. The Warriors finally took the lead, winning 105-103. However, the Lakers made a great comeback and the game remained tied at 116 with two minutes to go.
