Paris Saint-Germain have put their main striker, Kylian Mbappe, on the market, leaving the whole world abuzz. Amid the long list of suitors interested in the Frenchman, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are supposedly leading the queue, having made a world record offer of 300 million euros to sign Mbappe. Al-Hilal’s board is ready to offer Kilian a one-season contract (with a salary of 700 million euros) and, after that, is ready to release the player to Real Madrid for free.
The 24-year-old is not willing to extend his current contract with PSG, which expires next year, which is why the Parisians are willing to sell their star player this month rather than allow him to leave on a free transfer next year.
The Ligue 1 giants have taken a tough stance on Mbappe, leaving him out of their pre-season tour of Japan. Kylian was recently seen training with the club’s reserve team and finally reacted to the rumors of Al-Hilal’s record offer.
NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo shared a selfie of himself on Twitter and wrote: “Al Hilal, you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe“.
The post provoked a response from the PSG star, who reacted with several laughing emojis.

Should Mbappe change his mind and decide to join the Saudi Pro League, he would surpass the world transfer record set by PSG when they triggered Neymar’s £200 million release clause in 2017.
It has been reported that the French club are open to the idea of allowing Mbappe to leave on loan for next season, and this would also help them generate a fee rather than losing their star player for nothing in a year.
Al Hilal could be an interim solution for all parties before the Frenchman’s inevitable move to Real Madrid. The Saudi club has already made its intentions clear for next season, having signed players such as Ruben Neves from Wolves and Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea.
President Nasser Al-Khelaifi gave Mbappe an ultimatum to extend his contract or be sold this summer. It will be interesting to see how this saga develops.
