Grêmio defeats América-MG 3-1 to secure third place in the championship
Grêmio showed their resilience and dominance at home by beating América-MG 3-1. Bitello, Villasanti and Suárez scored the goals for Grêmio, while Danilo Avelar opened the scoring for Coelho in the 11th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro at the Arena do Grêmio. Despite the good performance, América-MG continued to have defensive problems and remain in the relegation zone with eight points, in 18th place. Grêmio took advantage of Éder’s sending off and turned the game around, deservedly winning with a strong second-half performance.
Internacional beat Coritiba 1-0 in a tight match
Internacional showed their ability and resilience at Couto Pereira to secure a hard-fought 1-0 win over Coritiba. Pedro Henrique’s successful penalty kick was the decisive moment of the match, taking Inter to 17 points and putting them in 8th place in the standings. Botafogo secure 1-0 win over Cuiabá in tight battle
Botafogo beat Cuiabá 1-0 in a very tight match at the Arena Pantanal. The only goal was scored by striker Tiquinho Soares, who confidently converted a penalty early in the second half. Red Bull Bragantino dominate and beat Flamengo 4-0
Red Bull Bragantino produced a dominant performance to beat Flamengo 4-0 in Bragança Paulista. The goals came from Eduardo Santos, Alerrandro and two from Henry Mosquera. From start to finish, Bragantino showed total dominance, controlling possession and creating numerous chances to score. The win denied Flamengo the chance to overtake Palmeiras and dropped them to fourth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro standings. On the other hand, Bragantino moved up to ninth place with 17 points. The first half showed Bragantino’s superiority, with Eduardo Santos scoring the first goal with a header. In the second half, Bragantino extended their lead with exceptional goals from Alerrandro and Mosquera, sealing a comprehensive victory.
