With the 2022-23 soccer season coming to an end, it’s time for teams to start negotiating their summer transfers,
in addition to Kylian Mbappe’s decision to inform PSG that he will be renewing his contract
there are many other rumors that have hit the headlines recently.
Firstly, there’s good news for Arsenal fans, as the Guardian reports that the Premier League giants are close to agreeing a record £100 million deal to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice. The Englishman was also being sought after by Bayern Munich, but prefers to move to the Emirates.
After leading Man City to their first Champions League title and a historic triple crown recently, Pep Guardiola is likely to leave the Etihad after his current contract expires, according to the Guardian. The Catalan coach’s current contract runs until the end of summer 2025.
Manchester City may have won their third league title, but they have already begun preparations for next season and have therefore been strongly linked with RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol. The 21-year-old is on the radar of many teams, but according to Talksport, Guardiola’s side will have to fork out at least 75 million pounds to get their player.
In addition, Manchester United are still negotiating with Chelsea to sign Mason Mount, who rejected Liverpool, but there is still a big difference between the valuation of the player by the two clubs, with the Blues demanding a high fee for the 24-year-old, according to Sky Sports.
The England captain is unlikely to leave the club and Spurs don’t want to sell their star striker to a Premier League rival; Real Madrid fans would be smiling.
However, there is also good news for Spurs fans: the club is very close to reaching an agreement with Brentford for goalkeeper David Raya; according to Sky, Manchester United will probably not pay the 40 million pounds that the Bees want for the goalkeeper.
