Palmeiras dominate Gremio with 4-1 win

Athletico-PR beat Internacional 2-0
Athletico-PR scored a deserved 2-0 win over Internacional. The game was dominated by the away team.
Athletico-PR controlled most of the possession and created more chances. But it took Athletico-PR a long time to open the scoring. Christian scored in the 79th minute with an accurate finish. Willian sealed the win in the third minute when he came off the bench.

Goiás struggled to create clear chances in the first half, while Flamengo continued to press in search of a second goal. Flamengo eventually doubled their lead in the 49th minute when Éverton Ribeiro scored after a well-worked team move. Despite a few scares at the end of the game, Flamengo held on to take the three points and climb to 12th in the standings. Goiás, on the other hand, are in 18th place.
Santos win an important 3-0 victory against Bahia
Despite the ongoing “Bauermann controversy”, Santos secured a 3-0 win over Bahia.
Deivid scored his first goal for the Santos professional team in the fourth minute, and Mendoza doubled the lead in the 15th minute. Although Bahia tried to recover, Santos’ defense held firm and Ângelo scored in the 51st minute to seal the victory.
João Paulo’s excellent saves ensured that Santos didn’t concede. Despite being impeded by the post and the goalkeeper, Deivid put in an outstanding performance. Atlético-MG beat Cuiabá with four goals

Atlético-MG were in control of the game, with 55% possession and seven shots on goal. Despite scoring 4 goals, Atlético-MG only had an xG of 2.68, but the away team’s finishing was commendable. On the other hand, Cuiabá struggled to create chances throughout the game.
With the win, Atlético-MG climbed to eighth place in the standings, while Cuiabá remain in 17th position.
Penalty drama: Red Bull Bragantino and América-MG share the spotlight
