A historic finish marked the decision for the ‘BMF’ belt, won by Max Holloway over former champion Justin Gaethje, in the light-heavyweight division, at UFC 300, in the early hours of Sunday morning (14), at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, United States.
In an electrifying fight, the Hawaiian surprised by adapting to the top category, proving to be faster than the American. In and out, Max abused spinning kicks and the surgical precision of his boxing, despite being the target of heavy low kicks and heavy overhands.
However, the fight was decided in a memorable way, where the two fighters went to the center of the octagon in the final seconds of the fifth round and, after a frank exchange, Gaethje fell to a deadly cross at the sound of the horn.

With this, “Blessed” raises his record to 26-7, bagging three positive results in a row and also asking for Ilia Topuria as a possible new opponent. Justin, meanwhile, is 25-5 after delivering another exciting battle.
