Manchester United-Galatasaray

Manchester United are riding high from their recent 3-0 EFL Cup win over Crystal Palace and have also scored in each of their last six games. It’s true that Manchester United then lost 0-1 to Palace in the league. Galatasaray, on the other hand, are coming off a 1-0 win in the Super Lig against Istanbulspor, with Mauro Icardi scoring the only goal of the game. However, Galatasaray have scored 14 goals in their last six games.

Prediction – Both teams are expected to score, with Manchester United winning 2-1.

Bayern Munich-FC Copenhagen

FC Copenhagen are happy after a strong 0-9 win in the DBU Pokalen over Lyseng, and have scored nine goals in their last six games. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich beat Preussen Münster 0-4 in the DFB-Pokal. But after that they drew 2-2 with Leibzig in the league.

Prediction – This is expected to be a tight battle, with Bayern Munich winning 1-2.

RC Lens v Arsenal

RC Lens are looking to extend their winning streak after beating Strasbourg 0-1 in Ligue 1. Arsenal, on the other hand, come into the game having beaten Brentford 1-0 in the EFL Cup. And also after beating Bournemouth 4-0 away from home.

Prediction – Both clubs are expected to score, with Arsenal winning 1-2.

PSV Eindhoven-Sevilla

PSV Eindhoven will be looking to build on their recent 3-0 win in the Eredivisie against the Go Ahead Eagles, while Sevilla will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Barcelona in La Liga.

Prediction – PSV Eindhoven are expected to win the match 2-1.

Napoli-Real Madrid

Napoli are coming off a 4-1 Serie A win over Udinese, showing their dominance with excellent possession and shots on goal. Real Madrid go into the game having beaten Girona 3-0 in La Liga. Note that before the match it was Girona who were top of the table, but Real took their place at the top.

Prediction – A draw is likely, with the result tending to be 1-1.

Inter Milan-Benfica

Inter Milan beat Salernitana 4-0 in Serie A (Martinez scored 4 goals), while Benfica are coming off a 1-0 win over Porto in the Primeira Liga.

Prediction – Expect a very tight match, with Inter Milan coming out on top 2-1.

Atlético de Madrid-Feyenoord

Atlético Madrid are looking to extend their winning streak after a 0-2 triumph over Osasuna in La Liga, while Feyenoord go into the game on the back of a thrilling 0-4 win over Ajax in the Eredivisie.

Prediction – Atlético Madrid will win by a comfortable 2-0 scoreline.

Borussia Dortmund-AC Milan

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to build on their 1-3 win over Hoffenheim in Bundesliga 1, while Milan are coming off the back of a 2-0 victory over Lazio in Serie A.

Prediction – A high-scoring encounter and a 2-2 draw at the end of the match.

Newcastle United- PSG

Newcastle United come into this game having beaten Manchester City in the League Cup (1-0) and Burnley (2-0) in the Premier League. Before that match, PSG beat Marseille 4-0, but managed to play out a 0-0 draw against the last team in Ligue 1, Clermont.

Prediction – A very tight match that will end in a 2-2 draw.

RB Leipzig-Manchester City

RB Leipzig won their German Cup match against Wehen Wiesbaden 3-2 and drew 2-2 in the league with Bayern. Manchester City are hungry for revenge after losing to Newcastle (0:1) in the EFL Cup and Wolverhampton (1:2) in the Premier League.

Prediction – The prediction is for a tight game, with Manchester City winning 1-2.

Porto-Barcelona

Porto are looking to bounce back from their recent 1-0 defeat to Benfica in the Primeira Liga, while Barcelona come into the game on the back of a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sevilla in La Liga.

Prediction – An even game, with Barcelona winning 1-0.
