Brazil won their best-of-five Davis Cup tie against Denmark after just three games. Despite playing in the home of their opponents, the Brazilian tennis team, wearing their characteristic yellow and green, carried on the momentum of their impressive performance the previous day (September 15).
On Friday, on the fast indoor court in Hillerod, Thiago Monteiro won a surprising victory against the talented Holger Rune, who is ranked fourth in the world, by a score of 2 sets to 1. At the same time, Thiago Wild defeated August Holgrem in straight sets. On Saturday, the clash between the countries culminated in Brazil winning the doubles match.

Rafael Matos (44th in the doubles rankings) and Felipe Meligeni (631st in the rankings) faced Johannes Ingildsen (569th in the rankings) and Christian Sigsgaard (442nd in the rankings). It was an intense battle that lasted more than three hours, with each set very tight.
