São Paulo FC has received a new sponsor in the form of Ademicon, a consortium and investment company. The partnership will run until the end of 2024, with the brand printed on the front of the club’s shirt, just above the club’s emblem. The modified shirt with the new sponsor will make its debut this Sunday, when São Paulo face Flamengo in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil final, in what promises to be an exciting battle.
President Julio Casares announced the partnership, stressing that Ademicon will not just be a sponsor, but a partner, emphasizing that it will bring new revenue and opportunities for São Paulo fans. The partnership will offer São Paulo fans a wide range of consortium opportunities on a new platform called “SPFC Consórcio”, with the aim of helping families with their financial planning and generating funds for the club.
Eduardo Toni, São Paulo FC’s marketing director, explained that fans will be able to take part in various types of consortium through a platform with the club’s brand. This will include consortia for cars, real estate and even travel packages. The consortiums offered by São Paulo FC and Ademicon will be similar to those already offered by Ademicon, with payment terms of up to 20 years. Negotiations between the club and the company began around September last year and were facilitated by Let’s Goal, an intermediary.
According to the club’s management, the partnership represents an innovative approach to club sponsorship, in which the sponsor not only supports them financially, but also offers tangible benefits to fans through consortium opportunities. The partnership was considered a strategic move that seeks to deepen the connection between São Paulo FC and its fans, while generating additional revenue streams for the club.
