The latest iteration of the NBA 2K series, NBA 2K24, had its big debut last Friday on various gaming platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Nikola Jokic, the dynamic pivot of the Denver Nuggets, is at the top of the virtual basketball Olympus, with an incredible overall rating of 98. This makes him the highest rated player in NBA 2K24, a far cry from his overall rating of 68 in NBA 2K16. Jokic has a Diming 3-Level Scorer build and an impressive 36 badges, three of which are Hall of Fame caliber.
A’ja Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces’ power forward, is hot on Jokic’s heels, reigning supreme on the virtual courts with a perfect 98 rating. The reigning WNBA MVP leads second-placed Sabrina Ionescu by eight points in the performance statistics. Its 2-Way 3-Level Scorer construction establishes it as a powerhouse capable of changing the game.
The star-studded rankings continue with a list of exceptional players: Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks took third place with an overall rating of 96, just one point lower than his previous ratings in NBA 2K.
LeBron James, wearing a Los Angeles Lakers jersey, finishes in fourth place with a total rating of 96. Joel Embiid, of the Philadelphia 76ers, has the same rating as LeBron.
- Kevin Durant, who is currently with the Phoenix Suns, is the 96th overall pick.
- Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has a rating of 96.
- Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat also has an overall rating of 95.
- Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers and Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks all have a rating of 95.
- Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns received a rating of 94.
- Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder both have a rating of 93.
- With a total rating of 92, Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies stand out.
- With a rating of 90, Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty and Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans are a threat. Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks rounds out the top 20 with an overall rating of 89.
