Premier League leaders Arsenal were in action on Sunday night, with Mikel Arteta’s men traveling to Anfield to face Liverpool, although they could only come away with a point after drawing 2-2 with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Manchester City ‘s 4-1 win over Southampton earlier on Saturday meant that Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table was reduced to six points. In the other game of the night, Crystal Palace beat Leeds United 5-1.

Liverpool-Arsenal
When the two teams met earlier this season, Gabriel Martinelli scored in the first minute and was on hand to give Arteta the lead once again after receiving a pass from Bukayo Saka, but the Brazilian failed to score.
Gabriel Jesus made it 2-0 in the 30th minute, with Martinelli providing the assist. Mohamed Salah reduced the deficit for his team in first-half stoppage time with a shot from close range. He had a glorious chance to equalize, but the Egyptian failed to hit the target. Roberto Firmino grabbed a last-gasp equalizer.
The draw means that Arsenal climb to 73 points, while Man City climb to 67 points, reducing the deficit at the top.

Leeds United-Crystal Palace
Patrick Bamford headed the hosts into an early lead, but Leeds would suffer a total collapse in the second half. Sam Johnstone made a couple of good saves to keep the score at 1-0 before Marc Guehi equalized with a cheeky finish just before half-time.
Jordan Ayew headed in from close range to give Palace the lead, Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard scored to put competitiveness between the two sides before Ayew completed his brace and sealed the three points for Roy Hodgson’s men.
The win puts Palace in 12th place with 33 points, while Leeds drop to 16th with 29 points, just two places above the relegation battle.
