In a truly unforgettable Wimbledon final, 20-year-old Spanish tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz secured a historic victory, winning his first Wimbledon title and beating seven-time champion Novak Djokovic. The thrilling encounter on center court left the spectators in awe as Alcaraz won by
1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1, 3-6 e 6-4
ending Djokovic’s hopes of an eighth title and a record 24th Grand Slam.
For Alcaraz, this triumph was the realization of a lifelong dream. “Beating Novak, winning Wimbledon, is something I’ve dreamed of since I started playing tennis,” he said exuberantly after the match. “It’s the happiest moment of my life, and I think it will be for a long time to come.”

On and off the court, Alcaraz’s charismatic personality and infectious smile have made him beloved by fans all over the world. However, it was his formidable game that propelled him to the top of the world rankings, establishing him as a rising star in men’s tennis.
During the post-match press conference, Alcaraz promptly apologized for arriving 20 minutes late and wearing a bucket hat.“Being Wimbledon champion is a dream come true for me, something I’ve always wanted,” he shared humbly, full of gratitude.
The win at Wimbledon marks Alcaraz’s second Grand Slam title, adding to his triumph at the US Open last year and securing his position as the youngest world number one in history in November. Impressively, before this year’s Wimbledon campaign, he had won just four professional matches on grass. However, an exceptional performance at Queen’s last month foreshadowed his impressive journey at the All England Club.
“I’ve really fallen in love with grass at the moment,” said Alcaraz enthusiastically, revealing his new affinity with the surface. “Even though I’ve only played four tournaments on grass, winning at Queen’s has boosted my confidence. I never imagined reaching such a high level in such a short space of time.“
As well as ending Djokovic’s ten-year unbeaten streak on center court, Alcaraz achieved the significant feat of becoming the first male player outside the “Big Four” (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray) to win the Wimbledon title since 2002.
