In the midst of the dynamic football market and with the mid-year transfer window approaching, Tottenham defender Davinson Sánchez has been offered to Flamengo. In addition, the 27-year-old himself has expressed great interest in joining the Brazilian club, known as Rubro-Negro.
Davinson Sánchez, who represents both Tottenham and the Colombian national team, recently demonstrated his commitment to the sport by taking part in two matches during the FIFA World Cup. He started and played the full 90 minutes in the win over Iraq and was also on the pitch in extra time against Germany on Tuesday.
This season, Sánchez has made 24 appearances for Tottenham, 12 of them as a starter. However, the Colombian defender has expressed his desire to leave the English club and explore new horizons. He has openly discussed his interest in a possible transfer to Flamengo, and the possibility is now being evaluated.
As Flamengo enter the transfer window, the club remains focused on finalizing negotiations with Allan, from Atlético-MG, and Nicolás De La Cruz, from River Plate. Despite having other discussions underway, Flamengo is exercising patience and maintaining confidence in securing positive results for these possible signings. The transfer window officially opens on July 3, which allows plenty of time for adjustments and negotiations for reinforcements.
