In the Women’s Futsal Libertadores Cup 2023, Stein Cascavel continued their dominant run by securing their fourth consecutive win. They faced Kapital Soccer in a one-sided match that ended with a resounding 14-0 scoreline in favor of Stein Cascavel.
Stein Cascavel scored many goals, with several players contributing significantly to the team’s overwhelming success. Thaila Mertins and Luana Rodrigues scored two goals each, showing off their attacking skills and accurate finishing. Camila Borges put in an exceptional performance, scoring four goals and proving to be a constant threat to the opposition defense.
In addition, Tais Andrade, Julia Chimello, Lelinha Silva, Duda Moraes, Camila Costa da Silva and Flavia Alonso also scored, highlighting the team’s depth and diverse attacking options.
Stein Cascavel’s performance in this match demonstrated their attacking firepower and ability to dismantle their opponents with ease. The coherent teamwork, the precise passes and the deadly finishes were too much for Kapital Copa Libertadorescer.
With the success, Stein Cascavel ended their journey in the group stage and maintained their 100% record in the tournament. In their four games so far, Stein Cascavel have recorded four wins, scored 32 goals and have yet to concede a goal. The Brazilians finished top of Group B.
In the semi-final, Stein Cascavel will face Exa Ysaty, runners-up in Group A.

In the other Group B match, Always Ready secured a 2-0 win over Peñarol. With the win, the Bolivian club finished second in Group B. In the top-of-the-table clash in Group A, San Lorenzo beat Exa Ysaty 4-0. San Lorenzo finished top of Group A and maintained their perfect record. In the semi-final, San Lorenzo will face Always Ready.
In the other Group A match, Santa Domingo were beaten 4-2 by Pumas Sport. Santa Domingo ended their campaign in last place after failing to open the scoring. On the other hand, Pumas Sport finished in 3rd place.
With the group stage drawing to a close, all eyes are now on the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores Women’s Futsal 2023.
